Bogong moths are passing through

Endangered Bogong moths are currently moving through the South Coast on their annual migration. They are harmless to people and may rest in sheltered places, including between a screen door and the main door.

Our team will gently encourage any moths we find to move on before your arrival, but you may still notice a few during your stay. Please do not spray or harm them—give them a little time and space to continue their journey.

Settle into the local pace

A place to slow down

Tuross Head is somewhere you come to recharge and rejuvenate. Set off the Princes Highway, with one main road in and out via Hector McWilliam Drive, it feels like a destination rather than a town you pass through.

Set between Tuross Lake, Coila Lake and the ocean, the village brings together waterways, scenery, nature and a friendly community. Lyne Gatty arrived in Tuross Head in 1980 and has called it home ever since. Our local team is happy to help you choose a stay that suits the way you want to spend your time.
